QUARANTINE PORTFOLIO

This work is a reflection of my daily thoughts for the last eight months. The portfolio includes my best practices, projects and photographic observations collected for the second year of study at University.

Portfolio work went on during quarantine. Most of the work was created in countryside, it was inspired by the observation of natural forms, rethought later in the submitted projects. The portfolio is framed against the backdrop of nature landscapes that helped me create the works presented in it. Such solution helps the viewer to feel emotions and conditions similar to the author's experience and to take a fresh look at the work.

I. Searching an expressive type in the environment: everywhere from surroundings on the way to a store to while travelling.
III, IV. Environment-inspired graphics: creating typography based on photographs; supplementing images with typography. Reflections on the unity of subject and type in nature.

V. Creating a font on an 8x8 modular grid.

VI. Creating a logo based on the resulting font.
VII. Work on creating graphic accompaniment for the exhibition, including posters and invitations.

VIII. Visualization of meanings: work with Russian proverbs and sayings, reimagining them in graphic forms.
